Cycle with the best of British for ‘On the Road to Recovery’ charity campaign

The 'On the Road to Recovery' team is selling 16 exclusive tickets for an exciting, one-off track session with two of the best GB cyclist champions, to help them raise funds for The Christie.

The session, which will take place at the world famous Manchester Velodrome on September 1st at 6pm, will cater for 16 cycling enthusiasts of any ability for £100 per person. All of the proceeds will go towards fundraising for the ‘On The Road To Recovery’ grueling charity cycle challenge, which will see a group of North West businessmen complete the grueling 5 stages of the Tour De France in 5 days in September.

The talented GB riders leading the session will be Pete Mitchell and Callum Skinner. Pete Mitchell is a former World Team Sprint Champion and Callum Skinner is a GB National individual sprint champion.

The session will include a one-hour ride on the Manchester Velodrome track with a certified coach and the experienced GB riders. Once everyone has had their fun on the track, there will be a photograph and autograph session with a chance to pick the riders’ brains about their rigorous routines and extensive experience.

All of the funds for this event will go directly towards the On The Road To Recovery fundraising, which aims to raise enough money for two mobile chemotherapy units, that will take world-class Christie care closer to patients’ homes.
